For parents the certainty that their children are in capable, safe, responsible hands and under professional supervision is paramount. With a steady increase of demand for good and qualified personnel, finding the right staff and management for kindergartens and pre-schools has become a challenge. Too few good candidates are available for a growing number of vacancies in the pre-school sector.
Frequently we experience that pre-schools not only struggle to find good candidates but also that keeping them has proven increasingly difficult. A costly endeavor, as high fluctuations are not only associated with high human resource costs. High staff fluctuations also affect team dynamics, the well-being of the children, parent satisfaction, and consequently affects the nursery's overall performance.
Choosing the right staff is thus essential for the success and overall atmosphere of the kindergarten or pre-school. Determining whether a candidate possesses the right skills and is able to deliver is paramount for the organization's, the parents', and the children's sake.
In order to find the right employees and eliminate any potential issues and support the development of pre-school employees from the get-go, the Kindergarten Management Test (KMT) and the Kindergarten Employee Test (KET) have been designed.
The Kindergarten Management Test and the Kindergarten Employee Test measure a wide range of competencies. Both psychometric tests are designed to be used during the recruitment stage and for developmental purposes for existing staff to support them in perfecting their skills.
The Kindergarten Management Test (KMT) consists of 16 elements including managerial skills such as Leadership Abilities and Diplomatic Skills.
The Kindergarten Employee Test (KET) comprises 10 elements including Passion for the Job and Organizational Skills.
